No one likes an evening of all work and no play, so immediately following the volunteer shift, the Foodbank will host a happy hour. Your ticket gets you refreshments and drink tickets.

In addition to refreshments, the cost of your ticket goes toward feeding people in our region. $1 provides 4 meals for your neighbors in need. Children 10 and under are free. Tell your friends, and come volunteer as a group, but be sure to register, so your spot is reserved!

Friends of the Foodbank Volunteer Night

The St. Louis Area Foodbank’s Young Professionals Board would like to invite you to its Friends of the Foodbank Volunteer Night. Spend the evening repackaging food in the Volunteer Center while socializing and networking with other area young professionals. No one likes an evening of all work and no play, so immediately following the volunteer shift we invite everyone to join us at Lehmann’s Landing to unwind with some food and drinks. As an added bonus, Lehmann’s Landing will donate a portion of our group’s proceeds to the Foodbank.
Space is limited, so please register early!

A New Cornerstone – November Volunteer Opportunity

Looking for a great volunteer opportunity? The Friends of the Foodbank are looking for 5-8 volunteers to assist A New Cornerstone by distributing food to its community in November. We’re expecting a higher volume of work to be done as it is closer to the holiday season. Please sign up for the shift, so the pantry can plan for the expected number of people.

Scouting For Food

Bag Collection Day

For the St. Louis Area Foodbank, Scouting for Food means our largest one-day food drive. It means over 2 million items to be distributed to our neighbors in need. It means a full warehouse of food to send to our partner pantries and soup kitchens. Scouting for Food is a one-day event that shows us just how impactful community support can be.
