The Foodbank is still open during the Safer at Home order! Food banks and food pantries are considered essential services, so our facility and Volunteer Center will remain open to serve communities in the bi-state region.

Volunteer shifts now consist of smaller groups where we practice social distancing and require masks and gloves.

Our Volunteer Center is still open until further notice. Thank you for your interest in volunteering during this time of need. If you have questions or concerns, please call (314) 292-6262

COVID-19 Update

At this time, we are being extra cautious when it comes to volunteer groups in our facility. Please remember, if you or someone in your household has symptoms of acute respiratory illness, we ask that you reschedule your shift until you are symptom and fever-free without the use of fever-reducing or other symptom-altering medicines for two weeks. If you have traveled internationally in the past 14 days, or have been exposed to someone who has, please reschedule your shift.

If  you are doctor, nurse, other medical professional, urgent care or nursing home worker that could potentially have made contact with a patient that has COVID 19, please do not volunteer at this time.

If you have tested positive for COVID, you must wait 14 days after your positive test results or until you are symptom or fever-free without the use of medication for 14 days before volunteering at the Foodbank.

Volunteers will be screened before their shift begins and we ask that you wear gloves and a face mask (provided) for the entirety of your shift. If you need to reschedule, please change your volunteer shift in VolunteerHub or call 314-292-6262. Thanks for your cooperation and understanding. We appreciate you signing up to volunteer at the Foodbank!

To prevent the spread of COVID-19 and reduce the potential risk of exposure to our workforce and visitors, please fill out this simple COVID screening questionnaire.
