Programs & Services
The St. Louis Area Foodbank is committed to creating equitable access to the vital resources that so many in the bi-state area need.
With the support of our partners, we are able to offer a number of events and programs to provide assistance to neighbors in the 26 counties we serve in Missouri and Illinois.
How We Help
Food On The Move
Food on the Move is a direct service program to increase access by eliminating transportation barriers on a more regular basis.
Community Mobile Markets
We deliver food on a monthly basis to partner agencies and program partners.
Pop-Up Food Fairs
Food Fairs are held in areas where people in need have limited options for food assistance.
TEFAP
The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is a federal program that helps supplement the diets of low-income Americans by providing them nutrition assistance at no cost.
Senior Assistance
Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) boxes contain nutrient-rich foods to low-income seniors. This program prevents many area seniors from having to choose between paying for food or other necessities, such as medicine or utilities.
School Markets
School Markets provide easily accessible food to children and their families on school campuses. Having food stability at home helps students learn and families thrive.
Transitional housing food program
The St. Louis Area Foodbank works with local shelters to provide families with food and household items as they transition to a home of their own. Click the button below to hear more.
