More than 35 folks from across the St. Louis region joined Foodbank staff last Thursday at the kickoff event for our new group, Friends of the Foodbank.
The potential “Friends” mingled, toured the Foodbank and volunteered. They packed up 336 boxes for the Commodity Supplemental Food Program. The boxes contained 8,736 pounds of food and created 7,135 meals for hungry seniors!
