We began in 1975...
In July of 1975, the Food Crisis Network was created in recognition of the growing need for food assistance in the region. Since then, we have evolved into the St. Louis Area Foodbank. Today, we serve 26 counties throughout Eastern Missouri and Southwestern Illinois. Last year, we fed 1,213,136 individuals through our mobile distribution events, school markets, and partnerships with nearly 600 partner agencies.
