Foodbank Young Professionals Board
Formed in 2012, the St. Louis Area Foodbank’s Young Professionals Board (YPB) is a diverse group of young professionals (ages 21 and older) who have teamed up to support the Foodbank’s mission: Building stronger communities by empowering people with food and hope.
The Young Professionals Board’s primary focus is to build a platform to further engage and educate younger demographics on the Foodbank’s hunger relief efforts and services provided through:
- Community engagement events
- Volunteer and program opportunities
- Marketing and education
By uniting a group of passionate individuals, our vision is to enhance the Foodbank’s ability to feed and empower people struggling with hunger and create a stronger, healthier bi-state region where no one goes to bed hungry. For young professionals, joining our Young Professionals Board will provide networking resources, personal and professional development, and most importantly, make a difference in the lives of local children, families and seniors.
