Summer Family Food Program

The St. Louis Area Foodbank and our community partners are gearing up to provide nutritious meals to children, teens, and families this summer through the Foodbank’s 13-week pilot Summer Family Food Program. Through our Summer Family Food Program, the Foodbank will provide more than 120,000 meals to children and families at 21 schools and community sites in Missouri and Illinois.

Thanks to our Community Program Partners:

What’s in a Family Food Box?

Each box contains meal kits to provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner to a family of 4 for two days. In addition to meal ingredients, the weekly boxes include recipe cards, activities for families, books to read over the summer months, and information about additional community resources.
