The St. Louis Area Foodbank is this region’s response to hunger and we have proudly served this community since 1975.
Our service territory covers 26 counties in total. Hunger affects individuals in both urban and rural communities. It affects all ages, races, abilities, and identities. Through our robust network of partner agencies and distribution sites in the bi-state region, we strive to feed every person who has limited access to food.
Did you know the St. Louis Area Foodbank is helping feed and provide valuable resources to people in your community? Last year alone, we distributed more than 2,034,844 pounds of food, cleaning supplies, and hygiene items to residents of Jackson County. This was made possible by our amazing network of partners. We are proud to partner with 17 agencies in Jackson County in an effort to best serve children, families, and seniors.
