"Scouting for Food" Drive Helps Foodbank Meet Rising Winter Need

Every winter, the St. Louis Foodbank and its 430 member agencies face the daunting task of meeting the increasing food needs of people who would otherwise need to choose between heating and eating.  Fortunately, the Boy Scouts of America "Scouting for Food" drive and the donors who support it, deliver thousands of canned goods just when they are needed most.  This year was no exception -- the 2002 drive collected 2 million cans of food!

The St. Louis Area Foodbank extends a heartfelt thank you to those who donated food and to everyone who worked so hard to collect it.  You help keep shelves filled and are the answer for people throughout our bi-state communities who need food assistance this winter.
