5th annual Taste of the NFL event helps raise much-needed funds for
Foodbank and Sports Commission
St.
Louis (October 15, 2007)
– Since
2003, the St. Louis Rams have joined forces with some of the best
chefs in St. Louis to help raise funds for the St. Louis Area
Foodbank and the St. Louis Sports Commission's Youth Programs.
  
This year's event - held on Monday, October 15, 2007 at the St. Louis Area Foodbank,
included over 500 attendees and raised more than $84,000. Rams Defenseman La'Roi Glover served as the "Event Team Captain" for the second year
in a row and was on hand along with other teammates and cheerleaders
to mingle with the crowd, help serve food, and sign autographs.

"The Roll Home" with Bernie Miklasz and Randy Karraker. And,
Fox 2 filmed it's weekly Rams show on location throughout the
evening.

Since the event's began locally in 2003, it has
helped raise more than $375,000 for the St. Louis Area Foodbank and
the St. Louis Sports Commission's Youth Programs.
