The Pampered Chef's "Round-Up from the Heart" campaign results in nearly $12,000 for Foodbank.  Daughter of Pampered Chef's Founder delivers check personally.

Verletta Cole, the Foodbank's manager of Corporate & Foundation Gifts, leads a tour of our facilities for The Pampered Chef's Julie Christopher and local "Kitchen Consultants."

Julie Christopher, manager, Corporate and Consumer Relations for The Pampered Chef (and daughter to Founder and Chairperson, Doris Christopher), recently toured the St. Louis Area Foodbank while making a donation of nearly $11,700 that was collected through the company's Round-Up from the Heart campaign.

The Pampered Chef's sales force of 67,000 Pampered Chef Kitchen Consultants present in-home cooking demonstrations and encourage their customers to round up their kitchen tool orders to the nearest dollar or more from September 1, 2002 to February 28, 2003. These funds are sent directly the food bank in customer's community.

In addition, customers can purchase this year's stoneware Peace on Earth Heart cookie mold that features two doves holding olive branches – symbolizing peace and harmony around the world. One dollar of the purchase price is donated directly to America's Second Harvest. Each year a stoneware cookie mold is dedicated to the promotion to benefit America's Second Harvest.
