 The St. Louis Area Foodbank
is happy to announce that we now have a food pantry in Lincoln County. The
much-needed Lincoln County Cupboard will open in February 2002.
Because there is such a great need in that area, and there hadn't been a source for food,
the Foodbank, along with volunteers from the Lincoln County Cupboard had a mass
distribution on January 29, 2002.During the 4-hour
distribution, the Pantry served more than 166 familes. All of the families were
given at least 2 huge boxes of food and assorted household items -- with larger familes
receiving even more. |
