T.G.I. FRIDAY'SŪ TAKES THE EDGE OFF OF RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC AND HELPS THE ST. LOUIS AREA FOODBANK

ST. LOUIS -- July 26,2000 -- T.G.I. Friday's helped take the edge off traffic at the intersection of Chestnut and Sixth Street on Tuesday, July 18, 2000.  Servers gave samples of T.G.I. Friday's Jack Daniel'sŪ Grill menu to those stuck in rush hour traffic.  And to ensure that everyone can have good food and fun, Friday's donated $1 for every sample of Jack Daniel's Grill menu items taken by a motorist to the St. Louis Area Foodbank.   Friday's guaranteed a minimum $1,000 donation.

The St. Louis Area Foodbank is a non-profit organization that serves as a food distribution center for organizations that feed hungry people throughout 14 counties in eastern Missouri and 12 counties in southwestern Illinois.
