ST. LOUIS, MO -- August 19, 1999 -- Since early March, a fleet of Oscar Mayer Wienermobiles has been touring the country, spreading "miles of smiles" as part of the "Share the Smiles" campaign to benefit America's Second Harvest food banks. 

The Wienermobile visited St. Louis during the 2nd week of August to help raise funds, food and hunger awareness locally for the St. Louis Area Foodbank.   During their 5-day visit, Hotdoggers Aimee, Matthew and Shannon (pictured above with the Wienermobile) helped raise $955.41 and more than 200 pounds of food for the St. Louis Area Foodbank.

The Hotdoggers take pictures of consumers with the Wienermobile for a donation of $1 to the local food bank.  One hundred percent of all donations go directly to the local food bank.  In addition, the Hotdoggers coordinate coloring stations for the children and distribute the world famous Wiener Whistle and high value coupons for Oscar Mayer products.
